During the weaving process, you enter a deep gestation connection with this instrument that is yet to be born, it is a creative process, where all the attention, patience and temperance are required.
Throughout the process of birth, each drum beat that you will play will expand that personal medicine that YOU have discovered while tightening the string, and you will expand its voice and its light to the world
USE
The drum is used in ceremonies, dances, songs, celebrations and is currently used by different Holistic Therapy practitioners.
The drum is part of you. Using your drum for meditation can help you feel your unity with the whole.

It was a long time ago…
We wouldn’t remember it, because the first time we heard something … we weren’t even born, it was in our mother’s womb.
That heartbeat stayed in us, for nine months without stopping, setting the rhythm of our new life. Today, this beat is with us in our own heart. That is why we have such a deep connection to the sound of the Shamanic Drum.

The drum will be born in a shamanic ceremony using different elements used in the Colombian Shamanic Indigenous Muysca Tradition.
Building your own drum is getting in touch with this ancient wisdom, seeking strength and inspiration in our hearts and giving birth to our reality a powerful instrument, companion and teacher.

SHAMANIC DRUMMING USES:
One of the many tools that people (Therapists, Medicine People, Shamans…) use to question what they think they know is the sacred drum. Drumming is perhaps the oldest form of active meditation known to mankind.
You can help with a wide variety of topics, such as:

Drum Meditation facilitates the healthy deconstruction of the ego through its powerful resonance with the deepest, which invites the soul to speak. A healthy drumming meditation is like a lever that taps into the dark depths of our soul.
What we see during our drum meditation journey has the potential to reveal clues to the mystery of our lives, as well as give us greater clarity about the purpose and meaning of our lives. But it can also annoy us and cause us pain to clean ourselves.
The open heart can be broken, which opens us much more to the power and intensity of the sacred. Either way, we are soul-displaced by the vastness and enchantment of our journey through the inner-outer nature of the dynamics of the soul world. Our souls become more robust, more adaptable to the impermanence of the world.

The drum can have a direct, powerful effect on human neurophysiology. It is concluded that the trance drums “connect us directly with our true human nature in all its deep aspects and therefore can link us back to the earth.”
By surrendering to the rhythm that changes in the form of a drum, we allow ourselves to move into the ethereal realm of deep imagination, where the healing transformation is free to take its place; where we are free to communicate with various archetypes and travel through worlds without limits.

SHAMANIC DRUMMING is for the purpose of inducing a range of ecstatic trance states in order to connect with the spiritual dimension of reality. Practiced in diverse cultures around the planet, this drum method is strikingly similar to the world over. Shamanic drumming uses a repetitive rhythm that begins slowly and then gradually builds in intensity to a tempo of three to seven beats per second. The ascending tempo will induce light to deep trance states, and facilitate the shamanic techniques of journeying, shapeshifting, and divination. Practitioners may progress through a series of trance states until they reach the level that is necessary for healing to occur. When ready to exit the trance state, the practitioner simply slows the tempo of drumming, drawing consciousness back to normal. Shamanic drumming continues to offer today what it has offered for thousands of years: namely, a simple and effective technique of ecstasy.
